Yvonne V.L. Holder

Yvonne L. Holder, 78, of Liberia, died at 7:20 A.M. on Monday, March 29, 2021 at the John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, TX. She was born April 24,1942 in Monrovia, Liberia, to Esli L. Holder and Mary Percer.

She survived by her son Leroy S. Eastman and his "Wife" Andrea Eastman; "Grandchildren" Alkelia R. Eastman, Leana M. Eastman and Leroy S. Eastman Jr. She is also survived by three living siblings, Suzette Holder-Jones, Julia Holder, and Richard Holder; two nieces, Kim Greene Gray (Antioch, CA) and Mai Yvonne Greene Fendor (New Hall, CA); and nephew Sam D Greene. Her deceased siblings Mary Percer-Green, Lois Holder, Marjorie Holder-Wesley, Hennis Holder, Edwin Holder and Esli Holder. 

She attended Saint Theresa Convent and College of West Africa in Monrovia, Liberia and graduated from the San Francisco State University with a B.A. in Library Science. She worked with the United States Information Service "USIS" for over 23 years.  She loved sewing, playing solitaire, crossword puzzles, and jigsaw puzzles.
