Tristan Almanzar Obituary

Tristan Joseph Almanzar, 26, passed away on Monday March 14, 2022.  He was born on February 21, 1996 in Buffalo, NY.  Later he moved to Midlothian, TX where he graduated from Midlothian High School.  While in Midlothian he was a member and volunteer of the cowboy church of Ellis county.  After graduating he moved to FT Worth, TX where he became a professional bull fighter. Tristan was also a member and volunteered at the Lone Star High School Rodeo Association (2015). He continued his bullfighting career and went on to bullfight at Billy Bobs and Fort Worth Stockyards Colosseum to name a couple. Tristan became a father in 2021 and he was so in love and proud.

Tristan has always been a sports fan of College football and NHL. Boomer Sooner was his favorite season. You couldn’t say anything bad about OU around him, especially when they were on. Tristan also played football and hockey as a young boy and just loved the game. Tristan’s proudest achievement was becoming a father. His sons lit up when they saw him and Tristan was so excited about raising little cowboys. Tristan’s greatest passion was bullfighting, it was amazing to watch when he was in the ring and in the zone, he loved protecting his riders.

He was a loving and proud father, protector/ provider, and friend. Tristan was always there when friend or family needed him, even if he wasn’t feeling his best he would still be there. He was outgoing but could be quiet, brave, hardworking and loved god.  Tristan’s smile would make the room smile, his energy was contagious. He didn’t hold back, fought for the people he loved and always had your back. Tristan was unique in the way that nobody else could replicate him and he is now deeply missed and mourned.

Tristan is survived by his sons Haxton Dale Almanzar, Stetson Levi Garcia; mother Anna Gambaro; siblings Teresa J Almanzar, Krystal O’Heir (Almanzar), Mary J Almanzar, Brandon Almanzar-Harper, Nicolette Almanzar-Sparrow; dog Boomer; many aunts, uncle, cousins and dear friends.

Services will be held privately.

Romans:38-39 "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our lord."
