Thomas Ray Ferrell age 63 passed away Tuesday March 23, 2021. He was a loving husband, brother, father, grandfather and friend.
Service Information: A Celebration of Life to honor Tom Ferrell will be held in April with immediate family at Quintanna Beach, TX.
Tom was born October 27, 1957 in Ocala, Florida to James Alvin Ferrell and Velma Mottle. On April 25, 1980, he wed Charla Kay Pack and they shared 41 devoted years of marriage. In their loving marriage, they raised three daughters Amanda, Jennifer, and Chantay.
Tom filled his life with dedication and compassion. He retired as a Machinist from Harbison Fischer in Crowley, Texas. The remainder of his career he was a truck driver. Part of Tom’s compassion for others included never meeting a stranger and helping anyone he encountered. He had several passions that included helping kids with their livestock animals through the FFA and 4-H Club. Tom was an honorary member of the FFA and 4-H Club. He spent many years with his children and grandchildren showing pigs.
Tom was preceded in death by his father, James Alvin Ferrell; mother, Velma Mottle, and brothers, James and David Ferrell.
His spirit will be carried on by his wife Charla Kay Ferrell; his daughter’s and their spouses, Amanda (Tiffany Lyon), Jennifer Ferrell, and Chantay (Ted Dunton); sisters, Debra Rowden, Sylvia Kleber, and Linda Whitt; 2 grandchildren Courtney and Zevon; other family of relations and dear friends.
