We are deeply sorry for your loss - the staff at Fort Worth
Dale Curry, 78 years old, went to be with his Lord and Savior June 7th, 2022. Dale grew up in Fort Worth, Texas. He was a Vietnam veteran and proudly served in the Army. He was a lifelong professional driver, always a loyal employee. He enjoyed his profession.
Dale was a good athlete and loved sports but golf was his passion. He never met a stranger and loved and lived life to the fullest. Everyone he knew was touched by his kind and caring heart; you never heard a bad word about him. Dale was a perfect example of God’s love.
Dale was preceded in death by his grandfather Thomas Curry (former Fort Worth Chief-of-Police) and grandmother Eula; father, Culver T Curry and mother, Virginia; and his daughter, Eliya Paloma Downs.
He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Christa Curry; brother, David Murphree and wife Binnie; son, Bret Curry and wife Tina; daughters, Lauren Gonzales and husband Lawrence and Tamara Burross and husband Michael Burross; son-in-law, Will Downs; 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; beloved brothers and sisters-in-laws, nieces, nephews, and a multitude of friends.
Dale loved and was so proud of his family. They meant everything to him.
“Our lives go on without you, but nothing is the same. We have to hide our heartache when someone speaks your name. Sad are the hearts that love you, silent are the tears that fall, living here without you is the hardest part of all. You did so many things for us, your heart was kind and true, and when we needed someone, we could always count on you. The special years will not return, when we are all together, but with the love in our hearts, you walk with us forever.” So, until we meet again enjoy your ride into the sunset our beloved Cowboy. – Christa Curry
A Memorial Service will take place Monday, June 20, 2022 at 2:30PM at The Table Community Church.
