On Sunday, April 11, 2021, Stephen Joseph Doboze, loving husband and father of two children, passed away at the age of 63.
Stephen was born June 2, 1957 in Cleveland, OH to Stephen Donald Doboze and Nora Clarke Wilcox Doboze. He moved to Seymour, IN with his family in 1972. As a teenager he was on both the wrestling team and the football team. He was a United States Marine which he enlisted in after graduating Seymour High School in 1975. He reached the rank of Staff Sargent after 18 years in the service before becoming an IT professional until his retirement.
On May 29, 1983 he married Deborah Lynn Seng. They raised 2 children a son, Stephen (Charlotte, NC), and a daughter, Megan (Shreveport, LA). Stephen had many passions in his life from his family, who he loved dearly, to his love of the United States military and the history, politics, and equipment that they used. He retired to care for his ailing wife and he took up the hobby of gunsmithing, something he enjoyed immensely. He was known for his stubbornness, his passion, and his love of his family.
His is survived by his wife and children, three brothers Andrew John Doboze (Leipsic, OH), Matthew David Doboze (Louisville, KY), Joseph Paul Doboze (North Vernon, IN) and one sister Kate Doboze (Cleveland, TN).
