Roger Dale Teague

January 19, 1960 ~ September 8, 2022 (age 62)

Roger Dale Teague, 62, passed away on September 8, 2022.  He was born in Cordell, OK; but grew up in Haltom City, TX.   Roger played football in school.  He worked at Ben Hogan, then worked in construction as a brick layer. Later in life he devoted his time to taking care of his mother, Goldie Teague, as she battled with dementia.

He loved traveling when he was younger and going on long scenic drives where he would take dozens of photos to bring back to his family. He spent much of his youth fishing at Lake Texoma and camping there with friends and family. He was always taking care of his family throughout his life.

He was a loving son, brother and uncle. He used to cook huge holiday meals for the entire family.

Roger is preceded in death by father, Byron Teague and mother, Goldie Teague

He is survived by his sisters: Betty Avera, Judy Powell, and Susan Smith; and many nieces and nephews and cousins

There will be a private family gathering in his honor.

In lieu flowers the family asks that you make a donation to any Alzheimer's or dementia charity in memorial of his mother Goldie.

From his niece Alicia Santos: Gone Fishin' by Delmar Pepper "I've finished life's chores assigned to me, So put me on a boat headed out to sea. Please send along my fishing pole For I've been invited to the fishin' hole. Where every day is a day to fish, To fill your heart with every wish. Don't worry, or feel sad for me, I'm fishin' with the Master of the sea. We will miss each other for awhile, But you will come and bring your smile. That won't be long you will see, Till we're together you and me. To all of those that think of me, Be happy as I go out to sea. If others wonder why I'm missin' Just tell 'em I've gone fishin."
