Roger Lavene Obituary
Roger John Lavene, age 70, of Granbury, Texas, died on august 5, 2021 in a Fort Worth, Texas hospital. Roger was born October 31, 1950 in Texarkana, Arkansas. He graduated from Castleberry High School in Fort Worth and attended Tarrant County Jr. College. Roger served with the United States Army during the Vietnam Era and retired from the Greyhound Bus Company.
He enjoyed fishing and horticulture and volunteered with People Helping People in Granbury, Texas.
Roger John Lavene is preceeded in death by his wife, Natalie, parents, Milton s. and Deliah Campbell Lavene, brother, Joseph Jacob Lavene, nieces, Diona Suzanne Lavene, Amy Lynn Thatcher, and Victoria Lane Lavene. He is survived by sisters, Elizabeth (Bill) Feiden, Kathleen Beard, Madeline McBroom, Patricia Lavene, Mary (Terry) Thatcher, Maureen (Jody) Robertson and brothers, Thomas (Kathy) Lavene and James Lavene. He is also survived by his faithful friend, Poo, as well as many nieces and nephews.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
