In memory of Robert Jared (Jarry) Tiffany, Jr, 79 of Trophy Club, Texas who passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2023.
Jarry was born on October 4, 1943, in Abilene, Texas the son of Robert and Clarine Tiffany. Jarry grew up in Abilene, Texas with his brother Bill and sister Julie. He and Bill earned their way through school throwing papers for Abilene Reporter News. Jarry graduated from Abilene High School where he found his passion for baseball, playing catcher on the team. Jarry was a lead vocalist in the school choir singing baritone. He and Bill formed a band called the “Flames” playing for local events in Abilene. The Tiffany family: children and grandchildren over the years and today continue to gift others with “the sound of music”! Music binds the Tiffany family together, shared experiences, favorite genres, and party fun singing old favorites.
Jarry had a long career in the insurance business. It began with the Equitable Life Assurance Society, Great Southern and the last 25 years his own company, Prime Link International, retiring in November 2019. His commitment to serve his clients was embedded in his desire to insure their future and success.
Jarry is survived by his wife, Jeannette Bell Tiffany. Together they created community living in Trophy Club, Texas. Jarry excelled in golf and soon enlisted Jeannette into the game. Over the years together they enjoyed many golf outings and vacations. Among his golfing buddies he was known as “the clutch putter”. Jarry was known for his optimism embracing others with his signature smile and strong presence. They belong to White’s Chapel Methodist Church.
No greater gift can one leave than a family bound together in love. Jarry is survived by his three children, ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Rob and Cathy Tiffany, Nicholas, Michael, Caroline Tiffany; Gary and Ann Grant, Laurie, Elisa, Mark Grant; Ashley and Shawn Griesemer, Annie, Molly, Benjamin, Samuel Griesemer and two great grandchildren, Theo and Lewie. Brother, Bill Tiffany and Sister, Julie Walter and Nephews: Bill, Jr and David Tiffany and Niece Jen Walter-Ballantyne.
A memorial service for Jarry will be on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at 2:00 PM at the Fellowship Methodist Church in Trophy Club, Texas. Jarry will be inurned in the First Central Presbyterian Church Columbarium, Abilene, Texas.
