Robert Lee Hawkins Sr.

Robert Lee Hawkins Sr. born October 1, 1954 and passed away peacefully January 7, 2022.

Robert was born at Sheppard Airforce Base in Wichita Falls Texas, he moved to Bowie, Texas in the early 60s where he spent his wonderful life growing his family and friends. He worked in the oil field and spent his whole life trucking in one form or another. In his final years he enjoyed working at and owning "Hawkins Mobile Home Service."

Robert was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was an avid (OLD) country music loving, two stepping, dominoes playing, rooster fighting country boy. He will be missed by all those that knew him.

Robert was preceded in death by his father; Arthur Lee Hawkins, mother; Borshie Irene Hawkins (Prichard), brothers; Art Hawkins Jr. and Spencer Nelson, sisters; Kathern Valdez, Debra Hawkins and his wife of 28 years Patti Hawkins.

He is survived by his wife; Nancy Price, maternal aunt; Janie DeBord, sister; Sarah Fatheree, sons; Robert Hawkins Jr., James (Dusty) Hawkins. daughters; Cordie Ratliff, April Hawkins, Jodie Wright (Hawkins), and Christy Price (Hawkins), 16 Grand Children and 12 Great Grand Children and his loved 4-legged child, Girlfriend. Numerus nieces, nephews, cousins and so many more dear family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at his home in Bowie Texas on February 12,2022 from 12:00pm to 2:00pm.
