Philip Wayne Copeland was born on December 13th, 1965 in Dallas, Texas to Norman and Caroline Copeland and passed away on August 17th, 2023 in Glen Rose, Texas at the age of 57.
Philip grew up in Granbury, Texas and raised with his brothers Shawn and Brian Copeland. He graduated with a GED and then got his associates degree in OSHA engineering at Texas State Technical College in Waco Texas. He started his career as a plumber and did everything from truck driving to staying at home and taking care of his family.
He enjoyed cars and he would spend his free time working on them or watching hours and hours of Barrett Jackson Auctions or Pimp my Ride. He loved spending time his friends and family making the most out of life.
He was the life of the party. He loved to make others laugh at his corny jokes and smile at all of the goofy things he said and did. His immediate family consisted of himself and three girls and he took every opportunity he could to make them laugh. He was a loving and dedicated Father and Husband. He loved his family more than anything and even through all the trials and tribulations that life threw his way he never stopped showing up for them in whatever capacity he could.
He is preceded in death by his mother Caroline Marie Copeland and father Norman Leonard Copeland and sister Janet Dawn Copeland
He is survived by his wife, Christina Louise Copeland. Daughters, Jessica Dawn Brelsford and Amber Marie Pilgrim. His grandchildren Corbin Wayne Brelsford and Lincoln Ray Brelsford and his brothers Shawn Craig Copeland and William Brian Copeland.
His family will be having a celebration of life for him in the weeks to come to remember and honor the man that he was.
In the wise words of Bob Marley and one of the last voicemails that Philip left to his family "Don't worry about a thing
'Cause every little thing is gonna be alright."
