Penny Ann (Adair) Ruth

Penny Ann Ruth, 64, passed away on Tuesday May 2, 2023.  She was born March 16, 1959 to Chester and Marlene Adair in Merced, California.  Penny, and her siblings Pamela and Keith, lived in multiple places growing up due to being the child of an US Air Force airman.  She would go onto graduate from Castleberry High School in Fort Worth, TX.  As an adult she worked as a bank teller at multiple banks and as an office manager handling payroll for a large manufacturing company.

While being a devoted wife and mother was of upmost importance, Penny's favorite roll was as "Nana" to her 6 grandchildren, whom she adored.  She enjoyed attending their youth sporting events, and enjoyed watching Texas Rangers baseball with her husband John.  She took every opportunity to bring her family together for vacations on the beach, trips to Scarborough Faire, or a classic rock concert.  When at home she could often be found enjoying her gardens while listening to music.  She was a loving wife, mother, and Nana.

She is proceeded in death by her mother Janet Marlene Adair.

Penny is survived by her husband John Ruth; sons David Briley & Jason Briley; father Chester Adair; siblings Pam Hanlin and Keith Adair; 6 grandchildren, and many extended family and dear friends.
