Patricia "Patty Patron" (Almaraz) Flores

Patricia Flores, age 55 born September 27, 1968 in Lockney, Tx passed away October 22, 2023 surrounded by family in Dallas, Tx.

Patricia (Patty Patron) Flores was a beautiful and beloved human, she was a daughter, sister, friend, wife and mother. She was raised in Corpus Christi, Tx by her parents Margie and Jimmy Almaraz along with her 4 siblings, Sylvia, Eleanor, Rene and Erik and her best friend Brenda. Patty graduated from King High School and met the love of her life Julio Flores by chance on the beach; her husband of 33 years and father to her 2 children Jasmine and Zacharias. Patty relocated to Fort Worth, TX in 2012 for her job in sales with Textron/Bell Helicopter. She was a member of the Jet Ranger 505 Latin Division, which had her traveling all over, she loved flying and experiencing new cultures. Patty was a wildfire who loved life, she worked hard for 36 years with Bell Helicopter with an unmatched work ethic and played hard during her free time. Patty was a distinguished member of the Drag & Autocross racing community; her last race was her fastest in the quarter mile a 9.42 second run. She loved to paint, draw, and go on adventures with her family, especially ziplining with her husband and making plenty of happy memories together. Her family grew over the years, she gained a daughter in law, Samantha, and became a first time Nana to granddaughter Harleen, along with a son in law, Joseph, and several fur grandbabies. One of the many past times she loved to do was hosting her family and friends at Pattyville, her bar she made. She was an avid Spiderman fan, you wouldn’t see her anywhere without a piece of spiderman clothing or jewelry on, especially her crocs. One of her dreams came true and she met her idol, Stan Lee. She was always full of life and loving towards everyone she met. In 2020, Patty was diagnosed with breast cancer, she fought and won that battle. In 2022 she was diagnosed with stage 4 Lymphoma and was in remission in August 2022. In December 2022 she was once again diagnosed with Lymphoma, Patty fought vigilantly up to the end always cracking jokes and making everyone smile. She passed surrounded by family and loved ones. Patty is survived by her parents, husband, Julio Flores; daughter, Jasmine and her husband Joseph; son, Zacharias and his spouse Samantha and granddaughter Harleen; along with brothers Rene and Erik and their spouses Emily and Priscilla; sisters Sylvia, Eleanor, and Brenda and brother in laws George, Aaron, and Rich. Along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family and dear friends.
