Orlando Piña Sr., Born January 15, 1975, and passed away peacefully on March 16, 2022 in Fort Worth, TX.
Orlando was born in Del Rio, Texas and raised here in Fort Worth. He graduated from Trimble Tech High School and began working in steel erection in construction and worked his way up to safety manager, then he would go on to become the safety superintendent. He dedicated most of his free time to coaching softball and teaching young ladies, including his daughter. Everything he knew about the game was bestowed to her.
He loved to coach softball and teach players all about the game. His favorite thing was to spend time with his grandbabies and love on them so much. Orlando was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and coach. He had a great sense of humor and made everyone laugh.
Orlando was preceded in death by his loving parents; Roque and Elizabeth Piña.
He is survived by his amazing wife of 24 years; Linda, his daughter; Lilliana, sons; Paul, John, Landio & Jacob, his grandchildren Isabella & David.
The family will be holding a Service for Orlando on March 28th at 7:00PM at Camino de Paz, 1516 N. Sylvania Ave. Fort Worth TX, 76111
