My Dearest Mendy,
I will never forget the first time we met. The girls were so young and in cheer. You were so fancy and beautiful. You taught me so much about him to accessorize. You were so good at that.
One of most cherished memories was the LaJolla Christmas parade with the girls and their cheer squad. Hanging out that night after we had our first deep talk and connected instantly.
We have been through so much together! So many different chapters in each others lives.
You were my true confident. You shared with me true friendship. One with deep love and trust. You never ever let me down and always always were there for me NO matter what. I am going to miss having that blessing here.
I will cherish every memory we shared, the kids, travels, heartbreak, laughter, Black Friday shopping and those quiet moments at as well just being there in each others presence.
Our make overs, our wine dates.
You taught me so much!!! To witness you amazed me all the time. The way you always stood for what was right and chased your dreams. I am so grateful you found you happiness with Donald. I never saw you more happy.
Raina omg! You did so amazing with that one! You were an amazing mother and will live always in her and all of us that were blessed enough to have in our lives. I promise to always be there for your little lady bug.
It’s the hardest thing to not be able to reach out to you whenever I want to hear your voice and get much needed Mendy advice. But I can still her you in my head and feel you in my heart.
Thank you for being one of the most amazing women I know.
You were courageous, loved with your entire heart, gave the best advice, stood up for what you believe in, compassionate, loyal, truthful even when hurt, kind, funny, true, real, road rage honking machine (LOL), precise, beautiful and wonderful.
I will miss you forever and ever and love you until we meet again.
Kourtney and Chloe forever❤️
Your Friend Keetah

My early memories start in elementary school - sleepovers with seances and frozen bras - makeshift photoshoots around our small town,  Embarrassing moments with boys.  Moving on to more adventurous and rebellious times - side by side by side every step of the way.  We were a trio of girls coming of age. Forty+ years should be enough and it sounds like a lot; but a  big part of it was spent miles apart.  Although the distance didn't erase our bond, I still am left feeling cheated - wishing we could share  40 more.

~Forever Friend~
All the things we were can never again be-that's true with most or so it seems.
I was holding onto 'someday' - hoping - and so that's what I would always say.
Believing we would be close again-like  over the many years we had   been.
However, Life's truth swept me up  from under it all-taking me down like a swift hard fall.
I found myself begging and  pleading-down on my knees-crying 'it's too soon-PLEASE !'
My broken heart  finally able to  take over my stubborn mind - No. No. Sorry,  Not this time.
I had hoped to see that beautiful face before disappearing without one last embrace.
All that's been shared, time spent,  all the worn tread - Matters not - to the warm tears I shed.
Even though I am kicking myself-taking blame-wishing I'd done more-feeling ashamed.
I look back feeling blessed - OH MY - My friend is so special , she is  one of a kind.
We've had many years of sisterhood , laughter and adventures-Friends-Uno . Duos , Tres.
Our Memories Live On - Today, Tomorrow , Thru Infinity-Relived with much Pride and Dignity.
It's been one Hell of A Ride-Not one Moment would I have changed - Not One ever Traded.
~A True Friendship and Bond Unbroken ~Never to be Forgotten - Never even  Faded~
