Mary Alice Stone

Mary A Stone, 75, passed on Sunday May 8, 2022 at 12:15 PM. She joined her husband Grady R Stone a mere 15 hours later from natural causes in their home. Mary was born in Ridgely, TN and moved to Chicago for a short time before making Texas her home. Mary loved God, Grady, and her family.

She was a member at North Richland Hills Baptist Church and ran the donut shop with her friends. If we had to list a hobby of hers, we would say shopping. With a slight addiction to purses and shoes.

Mary was one of the strongest women you would have met. Life’s trials and tribulations never wore her down. She was in every sense our own “Superwoman”. She modeled and taught, her girl dominate family, how to be warriors. She taught us, how to be strong and fight for what is right. Mary was the type of woman you would want beside you during life. Mary was the best mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and best friend.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, James and Ona Bryson.

Mary is survived by her children, Yvonne and husband Dan Phonhnaboth, Denise Bates, Tammy Connally, Danny and wife Cathy Sloas, Jerry Sloas, Rick and wife Kim Stone, Todd Stone, as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Celebration of life will be held on Saturday May 21, 2022 at North Richland Hills Baptist Church at 11:00 AM. Burial will be on Monday May 23, 2022 at 10:30 AM at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
