Marty Dale Hulsey, born in Dallas, TX on August 19, 1967 and passed away on December 02, 2021 in Fort Worth, TX surrounded by his loving family after a lengthy illness.
Marty grew up in Dallas, TX where he attended WW Samuell High School. He later obtained his GED and was Valedictorian of his graduating class. Marty went on to successfully obtain his Mechanics Certification, Plumbing Certification and his Leather Workers Group Certification. Marty chose a career in paint and body work and worked on both automobiles and marine vehicles. Marty was a loving son, father, and grandfather (G-Pa). He loved motocross, Nascar, football and hunting. He also enjoyed outside cooking, such as smoking a brisket or grilling a steak and hamburgers at family gatherings. The world lost a funny, kind and caring man. Marty said what he meant and meant what he said. He always had a smile on his face and would give you the shirt off his back. To know him was to love him.
Marty was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Holley J and Miranda Hulsey and his maternal grandparents Audrey D. Brisendine and Lorella Brisendine.
Marty is survived by his longtime companion, Rosemary Rodriquez; Mother, Lovita Brisendine Vinson; Father, Holley J Hulsey, Jr. (Jackie) and companion, Brenda Smith; Sister, Hollie Dodson and husband, Gary Dodson; Son, Myles Bartlett; Daughter, Hailey Nelson; grandsons, Hayden Pittmon and Phillip Bartlett; granddaughter Maddie Nelson and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.
