Obituary

Marcus John “Mark” Bikulcius was born on January 13th, 1987, in Irving, Texas, to Bruno Bikulcius and to Joan Cox, and passed away on January 15th, 2023, in Euless, Texas, at the age of 36 years old.

Mark grew up in the Dallas area. He attended school in Grand Prairie at Fannin Elementary. Thereafter, Mark attended Richardson Junior High School in Richardson and then spent time at LV Berkner High School, before graduating from Juan Seguin High School in Arlington, Texas. Mark took a job at DFW Airport and found a niche that suited him well for about 10 years, working for Puente Concessions. When he could advance no further there, Mark moved to Amazon for about a year before joining Prestige Auto Brokers in Grand Prairie.  There he spent the last 6 years while earning an Associates Degree. He continued his studies with the goal of gaining a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering.

Mark enjoyed role playing games because of the social interaction with his friends. He received his Associate of Science Degree in 2021 and was currently pursuing his Bachelors in Electrical Engineering. As a young boy, he spent time fishing with his brother and grandfather in Michigan. He also spent time with his cousins in Chicago. He and his father logged many hours driving from Arlington to Chicago and back, and later from the east coast to Dallas. He enjoyed football, baseball and was getting back into running. He spent a lot of time with family and cared deeply for all of them. His mother meant a lot to him and he made every effort to be there for her.

Mark loved all children. Not a father himself, he expressed his love to his nephews, nieces, and his close friends' children.

Mark enjoyed cooking and trying new recipes, although, he might get stuck on one for a while and cook it way too often. He was especially proud of his stuffed mushrooms. He was outgoing and always there if you needed a hand, or to just hang out. Mark touched so many lives in so many ways, and he was just getting started.

Mark is survived by his mother, Joan Cox; father, Bruno Bikulcius; brother, Bruno Bikulcius Jr., brother, Matthew Dannelley; nephew, Bruno Kai Bikulcius; niece, Isabel Sky Bikulcius; aunts and uncles, Eddie Cox, John Bikulcius, Edmund Bikulcius, Julie Davenport, and Elly Degroodt, and by their spouses, as well as by many cousins that are too numerous to name.
