Lynn A. Harris was born on September 19th, 1942, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Buford “Bob” Harris and to Dorothy Dawson, and passed away on November 13th, 2023, in Arlington, Texas, at the age of 81 years old.
Lynn grew up in Wichita Falls, Texas, with his sister, Kathy Hitt (husband, Johnny Hitt), of Azle, Texas, brother, Steve Harris, of Arlington, Texas, and brother, Jerry Harris (wife, Sheila Harris), of Mansfield, Texas. He had one son, Michael Harris, of Granbury, Texas, daughter, Traci Johnston (husband, Rick Johnston), of Aransas Pass, Texas, daughter, Teresa Greer (husband, Clinton Greer), of Granbury, Texas, granddaughter, Miranda Zanakos (husband, Nick Zanakos), of Fort Worth, Texas, grandson, Jacob Guzman (wife, Ryn Guzman) of Azle, Texas, great-grandson, Dimitrios Zanakos, of Fort Worth, Texas, and several nieces and nephews. Lynn worked at The Mail Box Inc. in Dallas, Texas, for +25 years, before retiring. Lynn was married to Lavern (Frosty) Harris for 38 years. He enjoyed watching football and baseball, and played co-ed softball for several years. As his grandkids got older, he was an avid fan and supporter of whatever they were involved, and traveled with the teams yelling and cheering them on.
Lynn was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He never met a stranger and will be missed by friends in both work and school.
Lynn is preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Dorothy Harris.
