On April 10th, 2021 at 3:26 AM, Larry Don answered the call of his Savior, Christ Jesus to return to the bosom of our mighty King.
Larry was born January 5th 1957 to Jerry Don Stephens and Nella Mae Morrell, both preceded him in death.
He was married to Geneva Edwards Stephens for the last 38 years. His greatest joy was their family. He leaves behind his son Jamie Michael Stephens his wife Crystal and daughters Kyndra and Dylainee of Andrews Texas. Three daughters all of Lewisville Texas. Dominique Stephens and her finance Stephen Kelly, Lauren Neal, her husband Ben, children Camren, James and Savannah. Brandey Stephens, her children Roxie, Cassie and Elijah. Larry was proud to be called Keeno, meaning wise one, by his grandchildren.
Larry felt especially blessed to be loved by his siblings Darrell and Linda (preceded in death) Stephens of Big Spring Texas, Michael and Nancy Stephens Ft Worth Texas, Mark and Margoth Stephens of Pennsylvania and Becky and Tommy Richardson of San Angelo Texas. He was also blessed with 4 sisters from his second parents, Jim (preceding him in death) and Imogene Moore, including, Debby Walton, Kathy Henry, Penny Powers, and Tammy Allen. The love of family continued with his nieces and nephews: Dina King, Tiffany King, Stephen Richardson, Spencer Richardson, Shelby Inskeep, Savannah Richardson, Britni Stephens, and Brooke Stephens.
Larry grew up in Big Spring Texas graduating from Big Spring High School in 1975. He relocated with his family in 1985 to the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex settling in Lewisville Texas in 1998. He found great joy working with his hands and his creative mind kept him busy working on his crafts.
Larry's Faith in Jesus Christ his Savior was strong and he was proud to share his faith with others. A man of his stature is one to be admired.
