Kevin Burnett Obituary
Kevin Lee Burnett, 67, passed away on April 23, 20201 in Richardson, Texas. He was born on January 3, 1954 in Port Arthur, Texas to Leo and Darleen Burnett.
Kevin grew up in the Nederland/Port Neches area, attending schools in Nederland. He served in the Navy, using the skills he learned in his work. After leaving the Navy, Kevin rode his bicycle from California to his home in Texas. Kevin will be remembered for the kind and compassionate care that he took of his mother, Darleen Burnett, in her last years. He was a quiet man, but those who truly knew him appreciated his intelligence and his gentleness. His nephews especially admired and looked up to him.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Kevin is survived by two sisters: Karen Blair and her husband Dennis, Rosemary Pratt and her husband George; one brother: James Burnett and his wife Christal; nephews: Russell Martain, Andrew Blair, Christopher Pratt, Jonathan Pratt, and Matthew Pratt.
