Kelly Marie Smith

Kelly Marie Smith, of North Texas, passed away on October 21st of 2023 at 44 years of age. Kelly was born on July 5th 1979 in Plano, Texas as the daughter of Terry Wayne Smith and Susan LeAnne Smith, sister of Carol Anne, Tami Renee, and Terry Wayne, Jr. She lived her childhood and teen years in Garland, Carrollton, and Justin, TX.

She was accepted into the Gifted and Talented program while in elementary school, and excelled in school, particularly in math related studies. A day to herself would include sleeping in, climbing Mount Everest, and everything in between, because her heart was in all places all of the time. Kelly had boundless energy, was artistically gifted, and enjoyed being heavily involved with church and volunteer programs; especially those benefitting veterans.

With a quick wit and boundless humor, Kelly loved her family with every fiber of her being. She is preceded in death by her only brother, Terry Jr., and her older sister, Tami.

Kelly Marie Smith is survived by parents, Terry and Susan, children, Gregory, Danielle, Jacob, and Ethan, sister, Carol, grandma, Janice, and three beloved aunts and uncles, many beloved nephews, nieces, and cousins, as well as extended family and treasured friends.
