MCGINNIS, Dr. Joe Bob Dr. Joe Bob McGinnis, 67, died at his church on Wednesday, July 1, 2015, in Roanoke, TX. Joe Bob was born on September 30, 1947, in Brownwood, TX to Dr. Robert W. & Joyce McGinnis. Joe Bob had a B.S. Degree and Doctor of Divinity degree from Dallas Baptist College, and Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He was married to Brenda McBeath McGinnis in 1972. He pastored several churches including Northrich Baptist in Richardson, TX, First Baptist Church McAllen, TX and his current church, which he founded, Rockhaven Church, Roanoke, TX. He is survived by his wife, Brenda; daughter, Taylor Hubbard; son-n-law, Shawn Hubbard; son Josh McGinnis; daughter-in-law, Amie McGinnis; two granddaughters, Morgan Hubbard, Kali Hall; sister, Brenda Bradford; sister-in-law, MarjAnnette Maynard; brother-in-laws, Jim Bradford, Larry McBeath, Jeff Maynard, Kenney Ownbey; and nieces, and nephews. A memorial service will be held at Rockhaven Church, 2297 Litsey Rd, Roanoke, TX 76262, on Thursday, July 9, 2015, at 10:30 a.m. The family has requested that memorial donations be made to Rockhaven Church in lieu of flowers. - See more at: http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/dallasmorningnews/obituary.aspx?pid\=175233658#sthash.7D3v0X0a.dpuf
