Jo Etta Duncan, of Arlington, Texas, passed away on August 12, 2022 at the age of 69 years. Jo was born on September 2, 1952 in Alice, Texas to Oscar Lee Tyrone and Ora Lee Smith Tyrone as the 3rd of 4 children. She graduated from William Adams High School class of 1970. She worked various retail and customer relations jobs during her life, but BINGO was her real passion. Jo moved to the Dallas Fort Worth area to be closer to family and would later call Arlington her home. She enjoyed playing games on her computer, was involved in her church, loved to laugh, and cherished time spent with her family. Jo was an avid orator who loved to talk a lot, was charismatic, and will be remembered for her kindness. 

Jo Etta Duncan was a loving mother, sister, and friend. She is preceded in death by her parents and by her brother, Leonard Tyrone.  
Jo is survived by her son, Dexter Duncan; brothers, James Tyrone, Wayne (Anitah) Tyrone, and Jon (Rita) Tyrone; sister, Evelyn Stevenson; step-brothers, Russell Valentine and Charles Valentine; sister-in-law, Edith Tyrone, nieces and nephews, Marquita (Latrell) Kaufman, Maegan Tyrone, Sommer (Andric) Tyrone, Allison Tyrone, Christina Nicole Davis, Brett Tyrone, Brandi Tyrone, Deirdra (Zaki) Clement, Dal (Chantae) Davenport, and Travis (Twyla) Tyrone; great-nieces and nephews, Tyree Davis, Ania Davis, Giselle Kaufman, Kellan Kaufman, Eli James Tyrone-Booker, Zayn Clement, Travis Tyrone Jr., Morgan Davenport, Madizen Davenport, Marquiz Davenport, Zakari Dorsey, Vincent Taylor, Peyton Rose Tyrone, Noelle Tyrone, and Khalil Tyrone; a host of cousins, a large and loving Houston family, as well as extended family and dear friends.
