Jack Scott Obituary

Jack Richard “Scotty” Scott, 85, passed away on February 13, 2021 in Fort Worth, Texas.  He was born on February 16, 1935 in Pasadena, California to Edgar Allen Scott and Edris Blanch Blackburn. 

Scotty met his wife of 65 years while stationed at Carswell Airforce base.  Upon leaving the military he went to work for American Airlines as an aircraft mechanic, where he retired after 28 years.  He lived most of his life in Lake Worth, Texas with Sammie, where they raised their family.  Scotty loved fishing, working on cars, as well as spending time at the Texas coast and with his family.

He is preceded in death by his:  Mother Edris Scott Howell and Twin Sons: Stevan & Stanley Scott

Scotty is survived by his Wife Sammie; Daughter Susan Brown; Son Kenneth Scott; Grandson Justin Brown (Amanda); Great Grandson Kaiden; and Great Granddaughter Kylie Grimsley

Due to COVID no services planned at this time, per Scotty’s request the family will spread his ashes at South Padre Island, one of his favorite places to be.
