Glenn Harrison, 59, passed away on June 26, 2021. He was born in England to an Air Force military family and lived on many military bases until 1972 when the family settled in Hurst, Texas. Glenn was an active gymnast while attending Central Junior High School and Trinity High School, he graduated from L.D. Bell High School in 1981. He was known for his feats of strength such as the iron cross on the rings and walking the gym floor on just his hands. Upon graduation, Glenn started in the trucking business and later moved into the automotive supply field working for various companies until his death. He will be missed for his story telling, wry smile and generous spirit.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Sally Richardson and his wife of over 20 years, Maragatham Venu and although divorced, he remained very close to Mara and remained by her side even at her death.
Glenn is survived by his father Rick Harrison; sister, Kim Harrison and her son, Joshua; brother Jeff Harrison, his wife Delaina and their children: Garrett, Emma and Melody, sister Tracy Hester and her husband Scott and their children: Michelle and Kelly.
Please join us in honoring Glenn Harrison on September 12th from 10 am - 1 pm at: Birdville Trails Park, located at 5312 Orval Court, Haltom City 76117. This will be a drop in time, so come when you can and stay as long as you like. This will be a time of fellowship and opportunity to share memories of Glenn.
