He started his career with a finance company before he moved on to Texas Commerce Bank. He then proceeded to Seagoville State Bank and finally retired after 50+ years in the industry. Ray’s passions were the Lord and his Family. He not only attended Glenview Baptist Church for more than 30+ years, but he taught many years of Sunday School to 2nd and 3rd graders as well.
Gerald Ray Scott was a loving father, grandfather and brother. He loved cheering on his grandchildren and watching them excel. His most cherished possession was his Bible. The world lost a Godly, loving, caring and one-of-a-kind man with his passing. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
