Ezra Samuel Cox

June 8, 1999 ~ June 18, 2022 (age 23)

Ezra Samuel Cox, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away on June 18, 2022 at the age of 23. He was born in Humble, Texas to James Cox and Jill Onstott Cox on June 8, 1999. Ezra grew up in Haslet, Texas and graduated from V.R. Eaton High School in 2019. There, he was the equipment manager for the softball, football, girls' basketball, and volleyball teams. After high school, he was offered a scholarship to Northwestern Oklahoma State to be the football and softball manager. However, he wanted to stay close to home. He worked at UPS, where he was a stellar employee. He started a business as an avid photographer shooting pictures for all different high schools of the sports he loved, along with senior pictures and engagement photos. He enjoyed going to NASCAR and watching his favorite drivers. He collected signed hats, shirts, and lots of memorabilia. He loved his family and his friends and his dogs. He was extremely close with his family; being best friends with his brothers. He loved watching the Texas Rangers and going to their games. And, of course, he loved the TCU Horned Frogs and always was excited when they would beat Oklahoma State University in football. Ezra loved to fish and his dream goal was to one day to buy a boat.

Ezra Samuel Cox, a son, brother, friend, and team player, will be remembered as someone who never met a stranger. He was outgoing and hilarious. Ezra had a big heart, was kind and loyal, and had a great personality that made an impression on every person that he met. Those left to remember him include his parents, James and Jill, his brothers, Eli and Eason, his extended family, and many cherished friends.
