Emily E. Pulliam (Priddy) was born on October 14th, 1938, and passed away on April 29th, 2021, at the age of 82 years old.
Emily was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. She graduated from Paschal High School in 1956. After high school, Emily married David Pulliam, and they moved to College Station. She worked as a secretary while he got his degree in Engineering. After moving back to the metroplex, they raised their children in Burleson. During that time, she was a volunteer in the classrooms in the Burleson school district and later worked in the Administrative office of the ISD. She was active with the Burleson Church of Christ and Hilltop Church of Christ. After becoming empty nesters, she and her husband lived a few years in Phoenix, AZ, and Baton Rouge, LA. The couple moved back to the metroplex in the early 90’s, to be close to family.
Emily enjoyed teaching children's Sunday School, working in her flower beds, sun tanning around the swimming pool, and traveling. She especially loved spending time with her friends, family and precious grandchildren.
Emily is preceded in death by Elbert and Ersie Priddy, her parents, and by Rolena Austin, her sister.
Emily is survived by her husband, David Pulliam, her children, Dawn Zuilhof (spouse Robert Zuilhof), Kim M. Pulliam and Dave Pulliam (spouse Kim K. Pulliam), and her grandchildren: Leanne Minyard, Jake Zuilhof and Shea Pulliam.
No decisions have been made at this time regarding a service.
