On May 17, 2023, Donald Otho McGregor passed away at the age of 69. Donald was born in 1954 in Olympia, Washington. Donald lived all over the world due to being in a military family, living mostly in Florida and Texas. Texas was the last place he moved to be closer to his parents. He worked in retail for over 20 years, finally retiring just years ago.
Donald spent his retirement doing things he loved, fishing, building guns, and speakers. Donald enjoyed making things and painting. He was a husband, a father, and a friend to many people. Donald loved and lived to take care of others. He never put himself first. He was kind and generous, you could always depend on his advice for any situation you were in. He was definitely strong willed and persistent. He never gave up in life and was always able to see the good in everyone.
Donald is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary Wanda McGregor, mother, Carolyn Embry; father, Max Embry; sister, Cindy; and brother, Ronald.
He is survived by daughter Brandy, and husband Brandon; grandchildren, Seth, Kelsea, and Dawson. Becky Nicklus and husband Chris, and their son Brayden; Hannah and daughter Sarah; Johnny and wife Sarah, and children Jasmine, Gavin, Isabella, Lucas, and Jessie; Harold and wife Shalon, and their child Rawlings. Justin and wife Crystal, and their children Saige and Gage.
Donald's service is June 15, 2023 at 10:30am, at the National Cemetery in Fort Worth, Texas. You have taught us so much. We will always remember and love you.
