Debra Mitzo Obituary
Debbie was born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota to parents Richard and Mary McFarland.
Debbie was the oldest of four children. She was always the leader. She was the Snow Days Princess and Homecoming Queen in High School. She achieved a Masters Degree in Psychology, with a minor in Math. She was also the State Badminton Champion, and hung out with Prince. Debbie enjoyed traveling and spending time with her husband of 25 years, Bill Gilbert Jr. Her Greatest joys where at the beach, camping with friends, dancing, and racing. The holidays and family gave her purpose.
Debbie was outgoing and spontaneous. Always giving selflessly. Debbie enjoyed cooking and hosting holiday gatherings. She was also an avid gardener and loved animals.
Debbie is Preceded in death by her Parents and her brother, John.
She is Survived by her husband, Bill Gilbert Jr., her two daughters, Katie and Jessica, and her three granddaughters, Abby, Judy, and Vivienne.
A Memorial Service will be held at Smithfield United Methodist Church. November 26, 2022 at 1:00 P.M.
