Constance Anderson Obituary

Our sweet and sassy mom, Connie Anderson, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2024 at
the young age of 81. She was born in Washington, DC on November 12, 1942. Her family
moved to California during her high school years, and she graduated in 1960 from San Pedro
High School. She eventually landed in Fort Worth, Texas where she lived most of her life and
raised her family. She and our father, Sam B Anderson II, started a successful swimming pool
company, which she ran, until they went their separate ways. After that she found a different
career path in wealth management where she worked until she retired.
Her careers are not what defined her. Her focus was on her children and grandchildren. Mom
was such a loving and caring influence in all our lives. She made life fun, she loved hard, and
would go anywhere and do anything to be part of our journeys. We have great memories with
her, and she was a constant companion.
Her hobbies included travel, she was always looking forward to her next adventure, playing
Mexican Train with her friends, delivering Meals on Wheels, volunteering at Stage West, buying
and returning clothes and other items, and attending as many of her grandchildren’s events as
possible.
Mom was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Birdie Stetler and her brother Rick
Stetler. She is survived by her children and their spouses: April and Todd Hudson and Adam
and Katherine Anderson. Her grandchildren: Drake, Arden and Kendall Hudson, Gaige, Brittany
and Nadia Anderson, Hunter Anderson Hayes, her great grandchildren, and her nephew Jason
Stetler. She also had many friends and was a well-loved member of the Vantage Community
where she lived for the last three years.
If you would like to pay your respects, there will be a Celebration of Life on April 19, 2024 at
3pm in the Chisolm ballroom at Trinity Terrace, 1600 Texas St, Fort Worth, TX 76102. We would
love to see you and share memories of our mom. Please, no all black attire.
