Clarabelle "Kay" Pettle passed away on January 4, 2016. She was 84 years old. She is asleep in death awaiting the resurrection promised at Acts 24:15. Kay was one of Jehovah's Witnesses and attended the Kingdom Hall in Granbury, Tx. A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 3734 Hwy 377 W., Granbury, Tx on Saturday January 9th, at 2:00 pm. Kay was born to parents Orrin L. McBeth, Sr. And Gracelee Mcbeth in Salina, Kansas. She married Richard L. Pettle, Jr., on October 6, 1951. They lived in Salina before moving to Fort Worth in December of 1968. When they retired in 1987, they moved to Decordova Bend Estates near Granbury. She was employed by Southwestern Bell Tel. Co. For over 34 years. Her first job was as a drafts woman in Salina. Her last assignment was as secretary to a district manager in Fort Worth. Kay and Dick played in many couples golf tournaments in Texas and other states. She was preceded in death by her husband Dick, on March 23, 2008, parents and three brothers, Harold, Donald and Orrin, Jr. She was also preceded in death by Dick's parents, Richard, Sr. And Ann Pettle, three sisters-in-law and one niece. She is survived by two sisters-in-law, Lois Burch McBeth, and Diane McBeth Thornhill and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
