Christine Glasgow Obituary
Christine Gatto Glasgow, 68, beloved mother, grandmother and friend, passed away Tuesday January 5, 2021. Christine was born on June 19, 1952 in Waukegan, Illinois. The oldest of six children, Christine graduated salutatorian from Rensselear Central High School and went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University. Her artistic talents knew no bounds, from sewing, to drawing and painting and beautiful penmanship, as well as calligraphy and poetry, there was not anything she could not construct on her own. Christine knew no enemies and touched the hearts of everyone she knew.
Christine was preceded in death by her husband Jack Dale Glasgow and parents Louis Constantine and Mary Kathleen Gatto. Christine is survived by her four children: Joel Swickard (wife Brittney), Jennifer Tawwatters (husband Chad), Jon Swickard, and Jim Swickard (wife Katie), 10 grandchildren: Jonah, Brady, Ben, Austin, Christian, Jordan, Lexi, Lex, Halea and Haden, and 5 siblings: Beth Roberts (husband Randy), Mark Gatto (wife Rosemary), Gregory Gatto (wife Kate), Janine Daniels (husband Steve) and Sandra Minniear (husband John).
