Christina Marie Peterson

Christina Marie Peterson, age 51, of Carrollton, Texas, passed away January 17, 2022.
Christina was born on December 30, 1970 to Rick Conner and Chris Tinkham Havens in Waco, Texas. Christina graduated from Midway High School in 1989, then studied accounting at McLennan Community College for two years before finishing her BBA-Accounting at Red McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin. She would later earn her CPA license early in her 24-year career that included employment at The Vincent Association Architects, Alcatel-Lucent, and Trend Micro. She was a dedicated employee and loved what she did.
In 1998, Christina met Barry Peterson, who she ultimately married on May 5, 2001. The two would later have two children, Lindsey and Matthew.
Christina was known for her unconditional love for her family and close friends. She enjoyed traveling, especially to St. John US Virgin Islands, which was her go-to happy place. Christina and Barry made endless memories throughout their 24 years together.
Christina is preceded in death by her grandfather Bill Conner, grandmother Thelma Conner, grandfather, WM. E. (Bill) Tinkham, grandmother, Donna Tinkham; step-grandmother Carol Potts Tinkham; her aunt Anna Miller. She is survived by her loving husband Barry Peterson, daughter Lindsey Peterson, son Matthew Peterson; her father Rick Conner and wife Dee Howard; her mother Chris Havens and husband James; her sister Holly Conner Ragan and niece Breanna Wuebker; her brother Eric Conner and wife Della; her in-laws Ron and Heather Peterson; sister-in-law Penny Peterson Benavidez and children.
Christina will be cremated with no official services at this time. A Celebration of Life ceremony will take place at a future date.
