She enjoyed reading, playing bridge and spending time with friends and family. For over 70 years, Carolyn spent vacations and summers on Cape Cod. The last 2 years of her life, one of the highlights of her week was her one-hour horseback riding lesson.
Friends easily describe Carolyn as gracious and kind with a great sense of style. She was warm and compassionate; interested in the lives of those who crossed her path. Carolyn possessed a strength that carried her through 92 years of life changes and challenges; joys and sorrows.

“Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me (Jesus). In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also.” John 14: 1-3
