Ashli Jenkins Obituary
Ashli Jenkins, 28, passed away in Dallas, Texas on January 15, 2024. She was born on January 26, 1995 and grew up in the Waco area with younger sister Aylah. Ashli later moved to Fort Worth, Texas in 2010 to be close to her mother, and spent her teen and young adult years in the Fort Worth area. She worked in the service industry for various restaurants, including Chili's and Hawaiian Bros and has lived in the Fort Worth area since 2010. She survived cervical cancer in 2019 & lost part of her leg due to synovial sarcoma in 2021.
She had deep empathy for the homeless & spent a lot of her time helping them out in various ways, such as putting together packages of food and necessities. She loved to listen to music and always had some sort of music playing. She also like to read and write down her thoughts in journals.
Ashli was outgoing, a good conversationalist, very friendly and loved her friends and family very much. She had a huge heart, loved animals of all kinds, and was a lover of nature and beautiful scenery. She had a great sense of humor and love to make people laugh.
She was very close with her great-grandparents Wes and Pat, who she referred to as Grampy and Nana, and Pat's sister Mary; the three of them preceded her in death, along with her Aunt Connie.
Ashli is survived by her mother and stepfather, Teresa Jenkins and David Beach; her husband Nathan Taylor; her young children Ian, Tessa, and Thor; her younger sister Aylah; and extended family and many dear friends.
Ashli was cremated according to her wishes; there will be a memorial service at Handley Meadowbrook Community Center. For details, please contact Teresa Jenkins.
