Archie deLannoy, a devoted family man, Air Force veteran, and pillar of his sobriety community, passed away on October 18th, 2023, at the age of 84 in Frisco, Texas. Archie was born on April 22nd, 1939, in Surabaya, Indonesia, and spent his childhood in The Hague, Netherlands. Archie moved to the United States at 18, where he joined the Air Force and spent most of his career in the Philippines, where he married (Zenaida) and had 6 children together over their 29-year union. He and his family also lived in New Mexico, South Carolina, and eventually retiring in California, where he married his greatest love, Lorraine deLannoy. Archie lived a life filled with love, service, and unwavering dedication to his loved ones.
Archie's kindness and generosity knew no bounds. He was always there to lend a helping hand to those in need, offering support and guidance to his family and sobriety fellowship without hesitation. His selflessness and compassion touched the lives of many, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Archie is predeceased by his loving wife Lorraine deLannoy (12-18-2013) and daughter Sheila deLannoy (04-14-2008), granddaughter Marissa Gonzalez (03-04-2017), and is survived by his children, Gregory deLannoy [Carol], Robert deLannoy, Cynthia McMahon [Kelly], Elizabeth Brown [Vincent], Catherine Turkawski [Roland], many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren
