April Nicole Sanders

April Nicole Sanders passed into the loving arms of her Savior on Tuesday, November 8, 2022.

April was born September 29, 1981, in Longview, TX to Michael and Teresa Sanders. She was a 2000 graduate of Pine Tree HS. In 2011, April welcomed her son, Nathaniel Blake, who was the light of her life.

April was full of life and love. She had a passion for music and was well-known for her beautiful voice. She was a regular performer at the Gladewater Opry, entertaining audiences with her Patsy Cline stylings. She was also involved in Theater Longview, performing in several of their musical productions.

Though she loved entertaining, April loved people more. Her friends were as close and dear to her as family and she made a point to express that at every opportunity.

April is survived by her son, Blake; father, Mike, and his wife, Virginia; brother, Brian Garrett; her many cousins, and countless friends. She was preceded in death by
her mother, Teresa; aunt, Deborah Wedin; uncles, Ronald and Donald Spencer. She leaves behind a great legacy of love.

A Memorial Service for our beloved April will be Saturday, November 19th at 2:00 P.M. at East Mountain Baptist Church located at 315 East Mountain N. Gilmer, TX 75645. 

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting monetary donations to help with April's son, Blake and the unexpected and emergency expenses of April's passing. We can't express how much your stories and posts have meant to our family during this difficult time. April was loved by so many!
